What to expect?
Registration: You will need to complete a registration form on your first visit and update any changes on future visits. This will include some basic important information about you, including contact details, referrer details and health insurance details.
Ultrasound: Most circulation conditions will require regular vascular ultrasound scans. Our specialist vascular sonographers are trained specifically to look at circulation problems in a way that is essential in planning and reviewing any treatment. This usually takes 15-30 minutes and is done at no additional out-of-pocket cost.
Consultation: This will take into consideration all information provided by you, other doctors and allied health providers, and test results. Please remember to wear clothing that will be appropriate for a clinical examination. An initial consultation may take 15-30 minutes while follow up consultations may take 10-15 minutes.
Procedures: These will be planned with you during the consultation and any expenses will be quoted prior to proceeding.
What will the consultation cost?
Dr Musicki is able to see all patients, regardless of health insurance status. The expense incurred is as below. Please call for further information.
Consultation fees: There is an out-of-pocket expense for most consultations. The amount varies by the type of consultation. Payment is expected on the same day.
Discounted fees: There is a possibility of having your consultation fees reduced. This will require a valid Pensioner or Health Care Card.
Medicare rebate: Part of the consultation fee will be covered by Medicare with a valid referral. This will be submitted online to Medicare for you on the day of the consultation.
Private health insurance rebate: Currently out-of-hospital specialist consultations are not covered by any private health insurance schedules.
What will the surgery cost?
